There is no song in the world more comforting than “No Woman, No Cry” by Bob Marley and the Wailers.
The end.
What makes this a beautiful song:
1. I could listen to reggae drumming all day.
2. The gospel-ish sound of the organ gives the concert the feeling of an open-air church service.
3. It was recorded at a concert. I love that you can hear the crowd singing along. And I might anger some hardcore Marley fans by saying this, but the studio version of this song is nowhere near as good. It features percussion by a Casio keyboard, and a strangely high-voiced Bob on vocals. This one is infinitely more relaxed.
